Ashtanga yoga is an energetic form of yoga based on a progressive series of postures that combine breath and movement. It has many health benefits including increasing flexibility, improving blood circulation and calming the mind.
Emma Cheong, trained with Brian Cooper from Yoga Union in 2009, and has since attended workshops with David Swenson, Danny Paradise, Scott Johnson, Joey Milnes and more. She teaches yoga at a number of venues around Oxfordshire.
Emma's vinyasa flow classes are an exciting and dynamic flow of postures that varies in sequence and incorporate a variety of asanas (postures), many of which are Ashtanga based. Both styles focus on use of the ujjahi breathing throughout the practice.
Emma's classes are on Wednesday evening at 7:30pm and Friday mornings at 9.30am at the TLA Studio, suitable for all levels with options for beginners and more experienced practitioners.
